Rudolf Steiner was a renowned Austrian philosopher, esotericist, architect, and social reformer. He was a multi-talented person skilled in various areas, including theology and drama. He pursued higher education from the Vienna University of Technology and during this period he started editing scientific papers of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. He also wrote many papers, including ‘The Philosophy of Freedom’. He further had spiritual enlightenment, which led him to come up with his own philosophy called ‘Anthroposophy.' He constructed a place called ‘Goetheanum’ that would serve as a centre of anthroposophical studies. The first centre was burnt by the Nazis as Rudolf was believed to be a threat to their religion due to his unconventional belief in spirituality, but they failed to disrupt his dreams as he went on to build a second one. His anthrophosphical society aimed at following a different path of spirituality. He also opened a school for poor children where he introduced innovative ways of teaching. His teaching ways focused on the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the students and encouraged them to be creative. He wrote books on philosophy, which were banned by the Socialist Government after his death. We have collected some of his notable quotes from his writings, speeches, and philosophy. Following is a compilation of quotations and sayings by Rudolf Steiner on spirituality, writing, soul, ego, education, perception, motivation, feelings, esoteric, growth, and art.
