Kanye West is an American rapper, producer and singer, regarded as a hip-hop legend. West used to produce music for the local hip-hop bands in Chicago and dropped out of college for the same. Soon, West started to work with Jermaine Dupri and Foxy Brown. His much needed break came when he produced music for ‘Roc-a-fella Records’ in 2000. He started producing hit singles for artists like Alicia Keys and Jay Z. In 2004, his debut album ‘College Drop-Out’ drew both critical acclaim and commercial success. That’s when he founded the record label GOOD MUSIC. Later, with releases like ‘Slow Jamz’, ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘Late Registration’, and ‘Graduation’ Kanye was able to make a mark in the rap world.
