Jean Seberg was an American actress, best known for her role as ‘Jean-Luc Godard's 1960 film ‘Breathless.’ She became an icon in French cinema for this performance. She made her film debut in the 1957 film ‘Saint Joan.’ She was chosen from more than 18,000 people who auditioned for the role. Despite the hype, the film bombed at the box-office. ‘Breathless,’ however, broke all the success records of the time and put Jean on the international pedestal. During her career, she appeared in more than 30 films, including ‘ Lilith’ (1964), ‘The Mouse That Roared’ (1959), ‘Moment to Moment’ (1966), ‘Paint Your Wagon’ (1969), ‘Macho Callahan’ (1970), and ‘Gang War in Naples’ (1972). She was also a staunch supporter of ‘Black Panther Party’ during the 1960s, for which she was at loggerheads with ‘FBI COINTELPRO’ project. We have compiled and presented some of her quotes on love, career, life, and happiness.

I was disillusioned by Hollywood at the time, but now I've come to accept that's just the way things are: it's called show business, not show art.
I never knew until I came here to Hollywood that somebody could be really nice to you for years and really hate your guts. Happens all the time here.
Forgive me. I can no longer live with my nerves.
