George Eastman was a celebrated American entrepreneur, philanthropist and inventor. He was the founder of the ‘Eastman Kodak’ company. He is also credited with bringing photography to the mainstream and also popularising the use of roll film. His creation of roll film formed the basis of invention of motion picture film stock.
