Edward Jenner was an English surgeon who founded the first vaccine of the world - the vaccine for small pox. Known as the father of immunology,’ Jenner first used the vaccine in 1976. He was also the first person to identify the brood parasitism of the cuckoo. As the discoverer of small pox vaccine, Jenner helped save the lives of so many people.
