Due to a wide number of young audience watching ‘American Bandstand,’Dick was popularly known as the ‘America's oldest teenager’ or ‘the world's oldest teenager.’ He was also known as the host of TV shows, such as ‘Pyramid’ and ‘Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.’ He was also the executive producer of ‘Dick Clark Productions’ and founder of the popular restaurant ‘American Bandstand Diner.’ He was also a successful TV producer and actor.
