Bret Easton Ellis is an American novelist, screenwriter, short story writer, and director who gained recognition for his novel ‘American Psycho’. Bret debuted as a novelist at the age of 21 in 1985 by publishing ‘Less Than Zero’, which achieved both critical and commercial success as well as courted controversy.
