William Jefferson Clinton, popularly known as Bill Clinton, is a former U.S President who served two terms between 1993 and 2001. He studied Foreign Service for his Bachelors degree at Georgetown University before going to University of Oxford on a Rhodes scholarship to study philosophy, economics and politics. He left Oxford midway and studied Law at Yale Law School. His first foray into politics saw him become the Governor of his native state of Arkansas and he served in that position for two terms. In 1993, Clinton became the President of the United States, as a Democratic candidate, defeating George H. W. Bush. Clinton was re-elected for his second term, a feat that had not been achieved by any Democratic President since Franklin D. Roose-velt. Clinton is regarded as one of the most influential American Presidents of the mod-ern era and his eight year term is generally regarded as a success. Following the end of his presidency, he forged a career as a professional speaker. Needless to say, he is a great orator and has expressed his thoughts on various social, political, economic and diplomatic issues. His writings, talk and speeches give insight into his mind. Here is a collection of some popular quotes by Bill Clinton on politics, society, America, education, schools, independence and difference.
